The Lancaster Convention Center provides 50,000 square feet of comp- etition space.  The gyms will be set up with a "U" shaped seating so parents can move around and get an uninhibited view of their child competing.  The ceilings are at least 40 feet high and there will be seating for 500 people using risers to view floor exercise. The Competition Format will be Modified Capital Cup, where all athletes warm up and compete on the same equipment (two sets of equipment allows one team to warm up while the other is competing).  One group will warm up on the tumbling strip and bump touch on the floor in between competitors.  Scoring will be done using triple redundancy and will utilize the new and efficient Scoremaster program.  This new program will allow for accuracy and prompt scoring.  Plus, scores will be viewed using "Elite Scoreboard" Systems for easy viewing.  Coaches and Athletes will receive gift bags.   The athletes will receive a Red Rose T-shirt.  The coaches will receive a cool coahes gift this year. Coaches Hospitality - There will be a private room for coaches and judges with catered meals throughout the day.  Meals will be provided by the Marriott. There will be a Coach's Party on Saturday night from 9pm - Midnight held at the Marriott hotel.  Free food and spirits will be available.  Awards will be held immediately following each competition.  The trophies, medals and team awards will be custom made this year and we are excited by their design.  Awards will be given out to at least 50 percent of athletes. Parking - Parking will be in the Lancaster Convention Center Parking Garage for $7 a day (with a coupon you receive at the door).
